Driving Directions
Driving directions to our Carter’s Point Hachery facility.
From Saint John
- from Harbour Bridge pay toll / Saint John on HWY#1 West for ~7 km
- take the exit #114 / Grand Bay, Westfield, Fredericton toward WHY#7, go for ~7 km
- take the exit 90 / Grand Bay, Westfield toward 177 North, continue on main road for ~11km (will have different names – River Valley, Nerepis)
- turn right toward the Hardings Point and Westfield Provincial Ferry ~ 200 m (you will see the ferry sign and the ferry as the river is close to the road).
- cross Saint John river (by ferry)
- continue from the ferry on 845 West for ~ 5 km (straight, parallel with the river)
- turn left on Carters Wharf Rd. (large gravel road, toward the river) and go ~ 1 km.
- you will see a white building on your left hand, by the road, on the bank of Saint John River
(that is the hatchery) and the parking is pass that on the right by the building with the air conditioning units on the sides (that is the processing plant) .
From Fredericton
- go toward Saint John on Hwy 7.
- take the exit 80 / Grand Bay, Westfield toward 102 and go ~ 1 km.
- at the first intersection turn right on 177 South, continue for ~3 km
- turn left toward Hardings Point and Westfield Provincial Ferry ~ 200 m (you will see the ferry sign and the ferry as the river is close to the road).
- cross Saint John river (by ferry)
- continue from the ferry on 845 West for ~ 5 km (straight, parallel with the river)
